This impressive 5 bedroom villa is a short drive from both the centre and old town of Alcudia where you will find a choice of restaurants and shops, both traditional and modern. The villa´s swimming pool, alfresco dining area and sun terrace are reached by the steps leading from the entrance to the house. There is a pleasant wrap around, raised terrace which provides shade for the dining table and relaxing chill out area. The arches overlook the pool and frame the magnificent views over the nature reserve and mountains.
The villa grounds are gated from the street, where there is ample space to park your hire car. A distinctive staircase with typical Spanish balustrades leads up to the covered terrace and front door of the house.
On the right as you enter the villa is the comfortable open plan lounge and dining area. The splendid view of the Albufera Nature Reserve and distant Tramuntana Mountains can be seen from the patio doors and windows to the front and side of the room. To the left is the well-equipped kitchen which has all mod cons for a comfortable stay. Patio doors from here open onto the raised dining terrace. The contemporary design with Mediterranean blue storage cupboards and stainless steel appliances has ample storage space for your holiday provisions.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
There is a twin bedroom and adjacent shower room on the ground floor. On the first floor is a double bedroom with en suite bathroom. The remaining double bedroom, twin bedroom and single bedroom share a separate shower room. Both double bedrooms and the twin bedroom also have patio doors onto a shared sun terrace with views over the nature reserve to the mountains. The single bedroom has a small private terrace.
In line with local energy saving initiatives, the villa has timed air conditioning on all units from 17:30 to 19:30 and from 22:00 to 09:00.

In a fantastic position right by the Albufera Nature Reserve, Villa Sa Marina has fantastic views across the countryside towards the Tramuntana Mountains. Close by is the small residential community of Bacares, as well as kite surfing and scuba diving facilities. The Roman ruins of Alcudia Old Town, the marina and the centre of Alcudia itself are all within easy reach and offer a diverse choice of shops and places to eat. A little further afield is the popular resort of Puerto Pollensa (Puerto Pollenca) which has a beautiful beach, a stylish marina and a whole host of facilities and attractions.
Local markets and shopping
Both Alcudia and Puerto Pollensa have weekly markets, ideal for keen shoppers, which give the opportunity to purchase local produce and artisan trinkets typical of the north of the island. The more traditional market in Pollensa Old Town on a Sunday, is authentic and a fine opportunity to mix with the locals.
Bars and restaurants
The centre, marina and old town of Alcudia all offer a huge and diverse range of places to eat. The old town can be reached on foot and offers a number of charming local eateries, boutique hotels with dining terraces and tapas bars featured amongst the cobbled ancient streets and Roman ruins. All bars and restaurants welcome children and the local eateries have a relaxed approach which adds to this easy going dining experience.
This Majorcan villa is a short distance from the sea with activities such as kite surfing and paddle boarding at your fingertips. Alcudia Beach has sunbeds and parasols for hire for a chilled out day spent relaxing by the sea. The nearby coves of Mal Pas and Cala San Vicente are within easy reach by car if you fancy a change of scenery. Around a 15 minute drive north is the crescent shaped bay of Puerto Pollensa which is lined with restaurants and beach bars - a great daytrip for any beach lover!
Nearby Alcudia has its own waterpark, the equestrian centre for horse-riding as well as a large Go-Karting track! In the marina you will find the opportunity for boat excursions, with glass bottomed boats and catamarans available - a great way to explore this area of stunning coastline. You can also hire pedaloes and bicycles, whilst Puerto Pollensa has scuba diving, sailing and jet ski facilities.
Places of interest
Majorca (Mallorca) has a number of attractions and places to visit. On the east of the island are the Caves of Drac which house Europe's largest underground lake. Other Balearic highlights include the stunning views from La Victoria Monastery, the 365 steps to the Calvary Church in Pollensa Old Town, and the Gothic cathedral, Miro's Gallery or Bellver Castle in Palma.
The golf clubs of Pollensa and Aucanada, with their stunning views of the coastline, are a must for all golf enthusiasts and are a short drive from the villa.
Villa Arcos Sol is ideally situated to enjoy bird watching in the Albufera Park - the villa itself is situated within sight of the migratory birds which make Majorca their home when flocking to cooler climes for the summer. Thrill-seeker can also find paragliding facilities and hiking trails in the Tramuntana Mountains.

A water based theme park with activities for young children. From giant water slides to numerous swimming and boating pools the kids will never get bored. The park offers a variety of flumes, slides and pools for all ages including kamikaze slides, a wave pool, euro bungee, mini go-karts and mini motor boats. A great day out for all the family. There are plenty of fast food type restaurants. There is also a 54 hole 'super-crazy-golf' course next door accessible from both in and out of the park.
All children (and adults too) can enjoy racing around the track and pretending to be Lewis Hamilton or Jensen Button. Try your hand at this exciting sport at Karting Mania in Puerto Alcudia.
The western ranch Ranxo Ses Roques situated in Alcudia is the perfect place to ride horses and ponies, for adults and children, in a natural preserved territory. A family run western ranch it's open from April until the end of October. They have horses for beginners and experienced. Enjoy the unique landscape of Majorca on horseback. Two essential requirements for the creation of a good golf course are a spectacular setting and a first rate architect. Both exist here in Alcanada, Alcudia. The former hermitage 'Ermita de La Victoria' lies on the peninsula of Alcudia, completely in the north of Majorca, in an idyllic, untouched mountain landscape. Far away from mass tourism, in privileged setting, you have from the Ermita an enchanting view of the 'Cap de Formentor' and the bay of Puerto Pollenca. Next to smaller walks one can undertake from here an amount of excursions (on foot, with the mountain bike or by a rental car). Not far from the Ermita (approx. 500 metres downhill) is the small beach of S'Illot. This nice hidden bath bay is used only by the visitors of the peninsula.
These are the most famous tourist attractions on the island of Majorca. They are also known as Dragon Caves due to the fact that the dragon features in many Majorcan fairytales and is believed to be a symbol of strength and a defence against intruders. There are three chambers inside the caves, Cueva Negra (Black Cave), Cueva Blanca (White Cave) and Cueva Luis Salvator (Luis Salvator Cave). Today, visitors can take a boat ride on the lake and see the beautiful limestone formations, including stalagmites protruding from the rock-face and stalactites hanging down from the roof of the cave. As part of their journey underground, they are accompanied by the sound of musicians performing classical music, including compositions by Chopin, every hour on a boat..
Windsurfers and pedal boats are available for hire at most of the bigger resorts. There are sailing schools at several of the larger resorts and often it is possible to hire equipment without tuition.
